The White House has fired all six members of the Commission of Fine Arts, an independent federal agency charged with advising the president, Congress and the city of Washington, DC, on “matters of design and aesthetics,” according to a source familiar with the matter.

The firings come as Donald Trump has sought to impose his style on the nation’s capital through a slate of construction projects, including a planned triumphal arch, new White House ballroom, and paving over the Rose Garden.

Exactly why I’m not going back to the US for the holidays. Living abroad and being brown the odds of me being detained are too high. My mom told me to stay out until that orange asshole is gone

Well thats a good sign. The fired commisioners were probably arguing for structural supports on the building, or something dumb like that right. On the bright side it’ll be right wingers that get crushed when the building collapses, so I’m going to side with trump this one time.

Obviously the lumbering rapist Retard-In-Chief knows better than a bunch of architects. On a separate note, which triumphant grift is the arch meant to commemorate?

While I would agree the R-word should generally be avoided in almost all contexts, I will never agree Trump is one of them. You could just replace the dictionary definition with an image of the fat useless fuck and be done with it.

Or put it another way: Any community that’d ban me for calling Trump a ‘retard’ is a community I wouldn’t want to be a member of in the first place. I stand to lose nothing of value.

The two columns represent his two failed casinos, the arch connecting them represents how he got off scot-free and with quite some money.

I heard he wanted to construct two joined triumphal arches? Made of gold? To commemorate his good friend Ronald (not Reagan).

Do you really think these pissants know what a triumph actually is or the purpose of a triumphal arch? They probably just see the Greco-Roman inspired stuff around Washington DC and want to mimic it not getting that the various architects of DC were Romaboos making a point, except the Washington monument that’s straight Egyptaboo which is fitting cause the Romans were also Egyptaboos.

If I may be so bold as to offer a suggestion. I mean, what do those fine arts people know about taste and quality?

There’s a tasteful design that’s just wasting away, as yet unbuilt. A design fit for a king and a world capital! It features a large hall, a modest 320m (1000ft) high. And of course a beautifully subtle triumphal arch, 100m (330ft) high, fit for the splendor of the most glorious nation on earth.

Truly making Germany America Great Again!
