President Claudia Sheinbaum has been described as a “Trump whisperer,” but a majority of Mexicans believe that her administration is not doing a good job managing the relationship with the U.S. president, according to the results of a recent poll.

As a Mexican I think America is hopeless and we should join BRICS. The American nazis will always be on the warpath. And the Nazis will be in control of America for a long time.
Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates
Look I’m not saying it’s not stunning to me mexico still has any diplomatic ties to the US given how fucking insane the trump admin has been, but if you’re looking to avoid countries that are in the midst of falling to the far right, maybe BRICS isn’t a great group to team up with.
I believe that there needs to be a counterweight. While America’s position as a dominant sociopolitical player continues. The shadow of their manipulation and warmongering will always be over us. Then there are the environmental factors. The spreading culture of hate we’ve seen spread from America in the last decade, All the Atrocities they’ve done in Latin America. The drug cartels inside the American Army, the growing threat of their war machine even during Democratic governments.
I don’t think this is a question of taking sides. But of a monster that was allowed for decades to grow too large and that if left unchecked it might just take anyone out without remorse. What is happening in gaza could happen to any country in Latin America. The warmachine just needs to grow bold enough. Who is there to stop them?
My point wasn’t that the US isn’t bad, I largely agree, just that most countries on that list are no better.
Well given that European countries like Germany and England actively sold weapons for the Gaza genocide, and that the European Union is acting like a lapdog to the Americans; I am curious to learn what are in your opinion the “good guys” in this world moral alignment.
The world isn’t black and white. Just because the USA is bad, doesn’t mean it’s opponents (in that case BRICS) are good. It sounds nice and easy, but that just isn’t the reality. All global players have some flaws (or are outright evil) and you can only figure out for yourself which of these bother you the least. Basically: “USA bad” does not implicate “enemies of the US good”
Pretty sure if you made a robot do something that is the complete opposite of any US action they would create a utopia
The world is not black and white; But if we are attacked by the Americans we will need allies that at least bring up the subject, not allies that will be trying to hide the fact or arrest any student that protests the wrong doing. Also is rather odd reading you start the comment with “the world is not black and white” and then state some players are “outright evil.” Which one is it? Whichever doesn’t suits your particular interests? Should I align with interests that go against mine? Just because a foreigner wants to decide what is evil for me? Is all of this sounding patronizing to you as well?
Bricks on the other hand includes Russia that is actively waging a genocidal war with the stated colonial purpose, China who is oncr again doing a genocide, with concentration camps and all, and Iran, theocratic dictatorship who’s doing theocratic dictatorship things to their own people (murder. I mean murder). If you’re going to try to have clean hands and distance yourself from countries that sell weapons, at least don’t hitch your horse to a genocidal dictator’s vagon. Those are literally the worst vagons.
when i’m in a making shit up competition and my opponent is a .world user
What an odd report: 51% think the relationship is bad, ok but that’s 6% less than a month ago; the headline smells iffy. Also I don’t see why people think it’s bad: do they hate Trump? Or do they actually like the idea of the cartels being bombed to smithereens no matter who does it? Or even (blech) love Trump? That research could have been so much better.
