Legalize drugs. Period. The only problem I ever had with drugs was getting caught with them. When I went to jail my life was ruined.

Context:

The scuffle followed a tense debate during which the governing Morena party and its allies accused the opposition Pri and Pan parties of calling for US military intervention in Mexico, a claim that both parties denied.

Earlier this week, a senator from the Pan party had gone on Fox News and said that “help from the United States to fight the cartels in Mexico is absolutely welcome”.

The issue has become particularly contentious in Mexico after Donald Trump reportedly authorized the use of military force targeting drug cartels deemed terrorist organizations in Latin American countries.

The senate leader said he would call an emergency session on Friday and propose expelling Moreno and three other Pri lawmakers as a result of the scuffle. Fernández Noroña also posted on X that he had filed a criminal complaint against Moreno.

Hopefully Mexico realizes this is just another way for him to gain more power and control and he has no intention of actually doing anything about the cartels. He is calling so many things emergencies to bypass the law and do whatever he wants. Mexico would be much safer without US troops all over the place.

Please don’t help the US president avoid elections through conflict. I can assure you, nothing good will come of it for your country.

I hope he is expelled and his finances are put under a microscope. All Washington needs is a small pro-intervention group they can pretend is a majority to validate their scheme.

Remind them that EVERYBODY IN MEXICO is a cartel member in their eyes. Not a joke, they’ll kill all the Mexicans with glee.
