You are missing something. Multiple things actually.

• most content isn’t uploaded by the copyright holder (e.g. TV excerpts)
• demonetized videos will still have ads (at least for people without ad blockers)
• videos are used for machine learning without credit to authors or financial compensation (especially without consent when it’s not the copyright holder uploading them)

It’s a “product” that profits billions off other people’s - often stolen - works.

The first time? Hardly, for anyone who can read and find proper news sources. I’ve been telling people for years that the most dangerous people in the fascist middle northern america are not in the white house, but in the silicon valley - and that the most evil motherfucker is Peter Thiel.

That aspect did pop into my head but I am not qualified to comment as I never use any wireless headsets, nor are my ears trained enough for fully appreciating hi-fi quality.

• they are cable-less, thus need to be charged separately
• they are cable-less, thus it is easier to lose them
• bluetooth implementation is a potential security vulnerability
• transmission by radio will always be less energy efficient than transmission by wire

My main problem with those prices is not even the value for money (albeit imo there is quite a disparity here), but the financial damage when lost/stolen. For private use, I just don’t want to carry any device around that is substantially more expensive than ~1000 EUR.

And the only thing that Framework has to offer me that no one else insise the EU has, is 15+ inches without a num block and with centered touchpad. The market share of laptops with num blocks (and accordingly off-center touchpads) is infuriatingly high and tells me 99.5% of people either have a tiny left hand or do no serious typing on the keyboard.

I wish I could accuse you of exaggerating. But I am not sure it is an exaggeration.

Moderates is what got us into this dystopia. We should have never tolerated greed and selfishness to begin with.

I honestly wish for the responsible people to die. A natural, painless death, but let it be quick. All of silicon valley is so evil it would be deemed unrealistic for a movie villain. They are selling out our freedoms and planet for what? They are already stinking rich.
