Yes, he deserves it, and more for all the other crimes he committed that are not on trial; but the reason may face any consequence at all is that he did one of the things he was elected to do, fight the extremely corrupt Supreme Court.

Maybe I’m ignorant, but the topic is about Brazil, and AFAIK we don’t have the same issue of prison labour as the USA.
What usually happens here is people get seemingly hired for a job, get taken to work on a remote isolated location and the “employer” demands payment for transport and accommodations, so it becomes debt slavery.
Sorry for the pedantry, but “contemporary” only means “happening nowadays”.
(More exactly “con” -> “together”; “temporary” -> “[in] time”).
Yes, the practice didn’t end, but the legality of it did; and the forms it takes nowadays are different.
Makes me wonder what they are doing to reach these figures.
Because I can run many models at home and it wouldn’t require me to be pouring bottles of water on my PC, nor it would show on my electricity bill.
