The problem is that AI halucinates and says things that aren’t true with full confidence.

To me, saying “I used AI to answer a question” is no different than saying “I asked my neighbor. He’s pretty smart and knows about these things.” He might be right 95% of the time but his words should not be treated or repeated as facts without independent verificatfon.

Or put another way, if the top result in your Google search is a reddit post, maybe look at some other sites too.

So to this person stating that they used AI, thank you for being honest. Now we know that your info might need a little more analysis if there’s any error or dispute.

I’m not saying that we shouldn’t use AI, it’s an excellent tool. Just saying that we need to be mindful of what LLMs really are.

To quote dear leader who is most definitely implicated and ran his campaign on releasing the Epstein files, “Are we still talking about Epstein!?”

And nobody with the power to hold them accountable does either.
