    I find it wild this was even in the conversation or debatable… Who released this and didn’t put controls regarding the suicide topic and immediately direct whoever, regardless of age to something not artificial. A Hotline, family etc… anything but engage with that topic.

    Oh good, I’m sure that will make things a lot better… I honestly feel most of the world would be better off without AI…

      Yeah, I didn’t think we’re going to solve “AI has no inherent ethics” by catching all the corner cases. That’s basically how the legal system evolved and that’s with a majority of people trying to be nice.

    Yep, so now the chatbots will only talk about it once the conversation goes on long enough. Great plan. Love that they just slap fixes on that don’t work without fixing the underlying thing (hint: they can’t, this is all emergent and they have no idea how it actually works)
