These insects are plaguing the hot pepper plants in our greenhouse, and last year they killed the pepper plants that we brought indoors. I haven’t noticed them being a problem when it was warmer out, I’m assuming the ladybugs were keeping them down.
How best to deal with them? We have an insecticidal soap that didn’t work last year, tobacco plants that I could probably extract nicotine from, or I’m open to buying something if someone has a recommendation.
I live in Alberta, I think we’re zone 3, if it helps

Had the same issue, tried cleaning them off the leaves (didn’t have insecticidal soap though) which helped a bit, but they eventually came back (Metro Van, so slightly different conditions).
Kept killing them by hand regularly, which allowed the pepper to survive but no new leaves would make it as they were instantly attacked by the bugs and dried out.
In the end, I just had to chuck the pepper after getting 1 little habanero off it 😑 I haven’t come across a silver bullet solution when searching, so hopefully someone with positive experience can chime in.
