Asked about the timing of the arrest, Millsaps said it was a planned operation similar to countless others.

So… There’s no excuse. If this was a time sensitive gotta go now operation they could claim it was an unfortunate coincidence, but a planned operation near a school for when kids are walking to school means they either wanted to use the opportunity to scare some kids and intimidate the community or in they’re far too stupid to be trusted with weapons and authority.

Well we gotta give em the benefit of the doubt: say a gunfight started. What better time than when a bunch of children are in every backdrop? Come on, it’s just common sense!

Cops understand 2 things violence and power. They only follow the people with the greatest access to these two things

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers joined only as a distraction to prevent protesters from disrupting the operation, he said.

“The immigration folks were parked over there to get y’all to leave us alone,” he said. ICE officials did not immediately comment.

Using ICE as a lightning rod is kind of funny.

    “Trump’s law enforcement surge.”

Oh, they mean “Trump’s illegal military occupation of DC.” I had to look it up in my euphemisms dictionary.
