Sen. Mitch McConnell, 83, fell to the ground in a Capitol hallway Thursday afternoon as he made his way to Senate votes. This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.

McConnell, who announced in February that he would not seek reelection, fell to the floor while two volunteers from the environmental advocacy group Sunrise Movement approached the senator and asked him a question about Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions. He did not respond to the question. The senator seemed unsteady, but got up and kept walking with the help of his detail. He then waved to the two individuals who were questioning him.
Attack by environmental terrorists confirmed.

It’s so sad that McConnell isn’t going to live to see the America he was so instrumental in creating.

Finally some good news from the capital.
As long as he didn’t land on the back of his shell, he should be able to get up. Turtles are pretty close to the ground anyway.
I have a new numbness to the misfortune of these people. They are so horrible that I’ve lost any empathy for them.
You can see him letting go of his assistant, and then he realizes he needs help but his assistant is walking faster, he tries to walk until he can’t anymore, and falls. Then as he walks away, he lets go again.
Take note, and when you’re older and become disabled, don’t be like this guy. Get a cane or a walker, and make your life easier.

It’s just wild to me that having so much money and power, he prefers to fall rather than use support. When I bought my walker, it took like half my monthly income at the time. This guy could buy Professor X’s chair and not feel a thing in his wallet.
He doesn’t fall, Hell keeps pulling him down to where he belongs.
