We are basing this on what taco said with absolutely zero action. After 10 years we should know better that what trump said should be issued and we should judge him by his actions.
As for the 2nd part. JV Dunce is a puppet of Thiel and Musk, who are pro Russia and China, so I wouldn’t expect much change there.
It is noticeable though that in last few weeks this admin accelerated authoritarian push. So perhaps they do want to push all unpopular things right now before switch.
IDK. Hegseth summoning of the military officers still strikes me as weird.
If Trump bites it, Vance becomes President, but Hegseth stays the Secretary of Defense (I will not call it war, just to piss them off). So there’s no internal power struggle.
But Vance has no military knowledge, and would unlikely be able to have any useful things to order. Since Hegseth does, and he’s quite brain damaged, I wonder if this was some sort of “y’all, orders are going to be coming from me as if they were ordered by the prezzy himself.”
So I think it’s just all a distraction from the fact that the regime only has a concept of an idea of a plan.
I’m not basing this on trump, but on Vance’s latest assertions. I actually think Trump has become largely irrelevant (except for his bloviations to the press) – he’s not even aware of what he’s signing, which is clear and on camera.
I’m paying more attention now to what Vance and the other henchmen say.
You’re right, it’s mostly Musk and Theil, but that’s more a business relationship than a dom-sub thing.
