And we’re still talking about Kent State and UNM today as it had a serious affect on the country. But the sad part is, if something like this happened today, a third of Americans would blame the victims. Fox News would tell lies about what actually happened. And it would be swept under the rug and forgotten about by Christmas.
Trump world also pardon any offenders if it made it to court.
When it happened 80% of the country blamed the kids. We’re actually much better off today then we were back then in terms of public opinion and reactions.
The lesson from Kent State is no one in this country really gave a fuck.
