The officer apparently tried to tuck a gun into his pants instead of using a holster, failed, dropped the gun, and menaced bystanders in response to his own failure

Most responsible gun owners understand why shooting this guy in this moment would be a huge mistake and are devoting a lot of their patience to tolerating the people demanding to know where was the good guy with a gun was.

If you think I’m genuinely suggesting “a good guy” start a fire fight perhaps I need to be less ambiguous.

I was being hyperbolic - I think ICE is Nazi scum and deserves to die, but I understand that this man being shot in the moment is not the answer.

I just wish it were - he catches a round for his Nazi scumbaggery (and all his friends too), and then everyone just moves on like nothing of value was lost, because it wasn’t.

Reminds me of that serial killer in China who targeted cops in their own homes. They never caught him. I hope that doesn’t start happening here. Wouldn’t that be terrible?

ICE are going to have to wear those bacon burkas for the rest of their lives. It’s their new skin. All for a bonus and a down-payment on a McMansion that they’re going to default on in 5 years.

Alright then, I understand what you mean. And tbh I tend to agree on an emotional level. It’s just that “He should have been taken down by a good guy with a gun immediately” doesn’t exactly communicate that nuance, ya know?
