Polish society remembers well from its own history that Soviet Russia occupied part of Poland in 1939, also under the banner of “peace.” Therefore, any pro-Russian “peace” initiatives that are openly anti-Ukrainian will not receive broad support in Poland. — Ukrinform.

    Just ask Georgia, one of earlier recipients of Russian peace. Russians even called that “peace enforcing operation”.

    In Russian “peace” and “world” are both “mir”. So when Russians say we bring peace they mean we bring a Russian world upon you.
