Yes… It’s monsoon season here. This is literally every year. Anyone who’s “terrified” hasn’t lived here long. This is literally a normal thing and causes minimal actual damages. The worst thing that typically happens is old carports get ripped up…
I loved monsoon season when I lived in AZ. Then it went back to being shit.
I’m terrified of other drivers during dust storms, people completely forget how to drive and think it’s Mad Max Apocalypse time.
Sounds like 99% of drivers in Canada after the 1st snowfall of the season.
Every single year they all forget what snow is and they live in Canada.
Then do what you’re supposed to do and pull over and wait it out. It was common for me once upon a time ago that I’d just pull over and go watch a movie at a theater. It’s not like these things come out of nowhere. You see it in the sky a good 30 minutes before it actually hits.
I say once upon a time ago… I work from home now. So it’s a nonissue all together for me personally.
But I think in general compared to 20 years ago, people here have just gotten significantly worse at driving overall.
