    Being opposed to actions of a state(or for them) is inherently political

    personally I’d go with something like: ‘When being against genocide is considered controversial/anti-semitic there is no going back.’

      it does not have to be political to be against murder at all. just because it has implications in politics does not mean the topic or opinion itself is political.

      the fact that a state is comitting the act is obviously political, but that does not magically make the opinion “murder bad” a political stance.

      advocating for or defending genocide is an inherently evil thing to do. i think that is natural law.
